November 27, 2023 (Monday)
Students were introduced to the forms of kinetic and potential energy and began to learn where they could be found around them. November 28, 2023-November 30, 2023 (Tuesday-Thursday) Students took their understanding of the forms of energy and began to look at how energy transformation occurs within a system. They practiced determining input and output energies. December 1, 2023 and December 4, 2023 (Friday and Monday) Students then applied their understanding of energy types and transformations during a lab. Students investigated different objects. They had to determine the energy type and transformation that occurred within that system. After determining the types and transformations, students picked one object to write a claim, evidence, reasoning explaining the transformation within that system. |
